The house had the bones College Hill is famous for — high ceilings, original casings, a butler's pantry that had been walled off in the 1970s. The owners wanted the pantry back and a kitchen that looked like it had always been there.
We drew inset shaker doors in a hand-mixed warm white, reopened the pantry with glass-front uppers, and scribed every cabinet to plaster that hadn't been square in a century. Unlacquered brass hardware that will darken with the house.
